The Northern Kane County Area
Located just north of Elgin, Illinois and Interstate 90 (the Northwest Tollway), our communities of Carpentersville, East Dundee, Gilberts, Sleepy Hollow and West Dundee are connected by a network of roads and highways. State Routes 25, 31, 47 and Randall Road are the major north-south connections that link with I-90 . State Routes 62, 72 and 68 connect our area with Chicago and its northern and northwest suburbs.
O’Hare International Airport is located conveniently within an hour of the Northern Kane County communities and businesses. Local limousines and buses provide easy transport both to and from the airport.
In addition, the area is well served by rail and is mid-way between the Union Pacific Northwest and the Milwaukee District West lines of the Metra commuter rail system.
