Part Time: Bookkeeping and Administrative Assistant
Village of Sleepy Hollow
M – F 11 am – 3:30 pm, 22.5 Hours/W eek
Director of Finance seeks accounting and office support.
Director is most interested in candidates with
the following skills:
• Administers Accounts Payables • Prepares Quarterly Account Reconciliations & Monthly Journal Entries • Prepares Payrolls , Posts to General Ledger and Files Quarterly Payroll Tax Reports • Assists with Annual Budgeting and Audit Work papers Preparation • Process Daily Bank Deposits and Online Bank Report • Assists with Preparation of Monthly Financial Statements • Performs General Office Duties including:
* Daily Cash Management including Residents Water & Sewer Payments
*Reception and Phone Support
* Processing Various Village Permit Applications
Education and Experience Requirements: • High School Degree required • Associate Degree, Accounting or Business Administration preferred • Work Experience, 1+ Years, Equivalent Experience • Microsoft Word & Excel Proficient ,MSI Software Experience, a Plus.
Ideal Candidates: Retiree/Semi – Retiree, Parent, Freelancer with Bookkeeping & Administrative
