Cherished Place Adult Day Club (2 Locations) Cherished Place is a unique adult day club that offers therapeutic activities and individualized services in a group setting for older adults with a variety of care needs. The program focuses on the dignity and individuality of each member, and Club members are encouraged to participate in programs specially tailored to their needs, abilities and interests. Members enjoy a wide variety of social, recreational, intellectual and spiritual activities designed to provide success and purpose to each day. The program is conducted under the direction of professional, licensed staff. ​ Cherished Place offers two locations in Arlington Heights and West Dundee, Illinois. Primarily, club members are individuals in need of caregiver support. This typically includes individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of memory loss, as well as individuals with other chronic illnesses requiring increased care. ​ How does a caregiver benefit from Cherished Place Adult Day Club? Cherished Place provides opportunities for caregivers to take a much-needed break from the worries and stresses of constant caregiving. It also allows caregivers to remain employed while caring for an aging parent or loved one. Transportation Transportation is provided to and from all activities and programs.
