Fox River Valley Public Library District serves the communities of East Dundee, West Dundee, Carpentersville, Gilberts, Sleepy Hollow, and areas of Elgin, Barrington and Algonquin. Library service is provided at the Dundee Library in East Dundee, the Randall Oaks Library in West Dundee, and by a Home Delivery Service. Materials available in both physical and downloadable digital and streaming formats include books, DVDs, CDs, audiobooks, graphic novels, video games, and non-traditional items such as guitars, craft supplies, games, puzzles, snowshoes, American Girl Dolls, and more. Services available include license plate renewal and one-on-one technology help. A variety of programs for patrons of all ages focus on lifelong learning and fun. Storytimes, computer classes, craft programs, lectures, and book clubs are free and available all year long.
