Dickens in Dundee

This year’s Dickens in Dundee will take place on Friday, December 1st from 6:00-9:00 pm, with a Holiday Lights Parade to follow on Saturday, December nd at 6:30 pm. All of East Dundee’s activities will take place near The Depot located at 319 N. River Street and the surrounding downtown area.

Santa’s Arrives 
6-8:00 PM Those Funny Little People Toy Making Elves
6-8:30 PM Living Windows (along River St. and Main St.)
6-9:00 PM
* Visits with Santa (FREE apple cider and cookies will be served)
* The Frozen Robins Caroling Quartet
* The Frozen Fab Four (Elsa, Anna, Kristoff and Olaf)
* Twinkles & Sparkles Dance Duo
* FREE Horse-drawn Carriage Rides
* Eastside Cafe will offer warm, adult beverages available for purchase on site. (FREE hot chocolate will be served)

PARKING:
In addition to street parking, there are parking lots located at:
– 311 Barrington Ave (behind the building)
– Main St/Rt 72 next to Dairy Queen/Dundee Music
– Behind Duke’s BBQ/the Caboose – 112 Railroad St. (Take River Street and turn west onto Hill St.)
– AT&T parking lot at Jackson & Water Streets (Take River Street and turn west onto Jackson St.)

Saturday December 2nd
6:30 PM Riverside Parade of Lights
Please join us for a magical night along the riverfront for our 2nd Annual Riverside Parade of Lights Presented by:
– The Northern Kane County Chamber of Commerce
– The Village of Carpentersville
– The Village of East Dundee
– The Village of West Dundee

The Parade kicks off in West Dundee on S. Lincoln Ave. (just south of N. 6th St.), travel north to, and across, the Main St. bridge in Carpentersville, then south on Washington/Water St. to East Dundee (ending at Railroad St.)

ADDITIONAL EVENT PARKING
– OTTO Engineering’s parking lots (2 E. Main St., C’ville) on the side of the River only. Parking in these lots must be by/before 6 pm as road closures in the area begin at 6 pm.
– Revcor, Inc Parking Lot at 251 E. Edwards Ave.

In addition to street parking, there are parking lots located at:
